Four males arrested for drug supply after vehicle search in Southwark

Four males have been arrested for drug supply and offences relating to the vehicle that was stopped by police in the London Bridge area of Southwark.

The arrests were made by the Met Police Taskforce who were patrolling the area when they decided they had cause to search the occupants of the vehicle.

An 11.27pm post, accompanied by a photograph on the official Met Police Taskforce Twitter account @MetTaskforce last night, read: ” #TSG – U413 had been on patrol in the #LondonBridge area of @MPSSouthwark when they had cause to stop and search occupants of a vehicle, the below had been recovered. Four males have been arrested for drug supply and offences relating to the vehicle. ^4558U.”

The Met Police Taskforce consists of the Territorial Support Group, Marine Policing Unit, Dog Support and Mounted Branch teams.

Members of the public are reminded that they should report a crime by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency and not by leaving a message on Twitter.
