There is heavy traffic on the clockwise M25 this morning due to a police incident which has lead to the closure of the QE2 Bridge (Dartford Crossing).
There is a queuing traffic due to the police incident from junction 30 A282 (Lakeside / Purfleet) to junction 1A A206 Bob Dunn Way.
Congestion has been building since the bridge was closed at 3.00am today (March 19).

Currently, the line of traffic stretches to North Stifford back along the A13 and halfway back to junction 29 A127 (Romford).
Pictures taken from the road show a wall of traffic unable to move.
There is currently a diversion in place via the A13, Blackwall Tunnel and A2.
