We’ve had a rocky start to the month, and it hasn’t been ideal while we’ve had to keep things al-fresco.
Not that anything would stop Londoners from having a good time.
But all our hard work sitting in pub gardens under umbrellas battling against huge winds could finally pay off, as according to the BBC, we could be rewarded with some fairly stunning weather this week.
Not that it will be entirely smooth sailing until then.
Friday (May 7) is forecast to be pretty amazing. With any luck, it will be “sunny” with “a gentle breeze” and highs of 15C to see us into the weekend the right way.
Highs of 19C are also set to hit in London on Sunday (May 9), with “sunny intervals and a moderate breeze” throughout most of the day.
In the days leading up to this stunning weather, however, light and heavy rain is forecast on a number of days.
We are also expected to see lows of just 3C, meaning the temperature could vary by a whopping 16C in the space of three days!
So, you’ll still want to pack your brolly and a few layers when heading out and about in the city.
It’s not exactly been the spring we have anticipated so far – and with the forecast this week, it’s likely to feel more like winter and summer than it ever is spring.
But regardless of the weather, we know Londoners will continue to make the most of our amazing city!
Here is the weather BBC forecast in London over the next 7 days
