London weather: Daily sunset times in the capital as Spring approaches

After two weeks of bitterly cold days and snow falling in the capital, yesterday (February 15) Londoners were treated to their first balmy day of the year in a sign that Spring is on the way.

One of the only benefits of lockdown is that it has taken place in the depths of winter when there’s not much to do outside anyway.

And as Spring approaches the hours of daylight are now lengthening.

The official start of Spring this year will fall on March 20 just eight days before Daylight Savings Time begins on March 28.

On this day, the clocks will be put forward an hour at 2am giving us an hour less in bed but an hour more of sunlight every day.

This is what time the sun will set in London on every day in the lead up to Spring.
