London weather: Exactly when temperatures will be hottest as capital set for its last 20C+ weekend of the year

We may not have had much of a summer in London this year, with disappointingly low temperatures and plenty of rain, but London’s typically unpredictable weather has struck again, this time bringing us a warm and sunny September.

The welcome Indian summer is set to continue into this weekend for a last hurrah before temperatures definitively drop as we slide into autumn.

So, to help you make the most of the year’s last warm weekend, we thought we would take a look at BBC Weather, the Met Office and Accuweather to see exactly when temperatures will peak in the coming days. Woohoo!

BBC Weather

Friday (September 24th): Highs of 22C, lows of 13C, set to be “sunny intervals with a gentle breeze”. Temperatures will peak between 2pm and 5pm and will “feel like 23C”.

Saturday (September 25th): Highs of 23C, lows of 14C, set to be “sunny intervals and light winds”. Temperatures will peak between 2pm and 4pm and will “feel like 24C”.

Sunday (September 26th): Highs of 23C, lows of 15C, set to be “sunny intervals and a gentle breeze”. Temperatures will peak at 2pm and will “feel like 25C”.

The Met Office

Friday (September 24th): Highs of 22C, lows of 15C, set to be “sunny”. Temperatures will peak between 4pm and 7pm and will “feel like 21C”.

Saturday (September 25th): Highs of 21C, lows of 15C, set to be “overcast changing to sunny intervals in the afternoon”. Temperatures will peak between 4pm and 7pm and will “feel like 21C”.

Sunday (September 26th): Highs of 21C, lows of 15C, set to be “partly cloudy changing to sunny intervals by lunchtime”. Temperatures will peak between 4pm and 7pm and will “feel like 21C”.

Accuweather

Friday (September 24th): Highs of 22C, lows of 14C, set to be “mostly sunny and nice”. Temperatures will peak in the afternoon and will “feel like 22C”.

Saturday (September 25th): Highs of 22C, lows of 14C, set to be “nice with periods of clouds and sun”. Temperatures will peak in the afternoon and will “feel like 24C”.

Sunday (September 26th): Highs of 22C, lows of 15C, set to be “Periods of clouds and sun with a couple of showers, mainly early on”. Temperatures will peak in the afternoon and will “feel like 21C”.
