Lovestruck Londoner devastated after not giving number to girl on train he’s ‘madly in love with’

A lovestruck Londoner with a “rainbow sweater” and “long curly dark hair” has made an emergency online appeal to help him find a girl who he saw on a train and is now “madly in love with”.

The unnamed Casanova, who is only identified by the Reddit username Wampino, called on all Reddit users to help him find the girl, who he said he saw at around 4.30pm on Sunday, on the Thameslink service to Cambridge.

“Okay this isn’t an emergency (it is) but if you’re that girl with bleached hair who was smiling at that dude with the rainbow sweater, long curly dark hair, and a black mask on the Thameslink to Cambridge around 4.30pm (I got off at London Bridge) this is me,” said Wampino.

“I should’ve given you my number. I hope the universe gives it a second chance.”

In a later comment, the Reddit user said that it was when he had got up “to get off the train” when cupid struck him with his arrow.

He added: “That’s when we were smiling at each other”.

He said he was “still madly in love with this complete stranger”, and that nothing could ruin this “delusion” of his “except maybe her”.

“I’ve already planned our wedding in my Journal of People Who Have Smiled at Me,” Wampino said, but stressed he was being somewhat sarcastic.

“I’m a donkey when it comes to these things,” Wampino admitted, also calling himself a “muppet” for not doing anything.
