M25 traffic live: Updates as multi-vehicle crash gridlocks motorway near Heathrow

Traffic has ground to a halt on the M25 this afternoon (October 18) due to a multi-vehicle crash near Heathrow.

Traffic cameras show a long line of cars parked up along the road as emergency workers attend at the scene.

It is currently unknown if anybody has been injured in the incident.

The crash, which according to National Highways “involves an overturned vehicle”, has happened anticlockwise between Junction 14 for Heathrow and Junction 13 for Staines.

Traffic scanners INRIX have provided the following update: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to overturned vehicle and debris on road on M25 anticlockwise from J14 A3113 Airport Way (Heathrow) to J13 A30 Staines bypass (Staines).”

MyLondon has approached the London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police for more information on the incident.
