We hope you had great fun enjoying the sun over the last week in London.
But the next few days are likely to remind us that it really isn’t summer just yet.
As the Easter Bank Holiday weekend draws to a close, so will this sunny spell of weather, it seems.
And it could feel even colder than we might think…
According to the Met Office, London is likely to see a ten degree drop in temperature starting from Monday, April 5.
It is forecast to plunge to -1 in London between 7am and 8am on the mornings of Tuesday (April 6) and Wednesday (April 7). This could feel as cold as -6!
Cooler air from the Arctic will make for a blustery start to the week across the capital. But it’s actually forecast to be like this across the country, so at least we won’t be the only ones.
We were initially forecast to see snow at some points. This doesn’t seem to be the case at the moment, but we’ll certainly be keeping out eyes peeled…
While it will be a shame to lose the lovely weather we have all been enjoying so very much, it’s not all doom and gloom. With any luck, temperatures will increase as we head into the weekend, with highs of 11C and many sunny moments on Saturday (April 10) and Sunday (April 11).
We’re sure things will pick up again in no time. For now, we’ll just have to wrap up for all those picnics we’ve got planned!
