Urgent search for Newham boy, 16, missing for nearly two weeks

The Metropolitan Police have asked the public for help in finding a 16-year-old Newham boy who has been missing for almost two weeks.

Moshood Ajikanle was last seen on October 9th. The Met says he is known to frequent the East Ham and Stratford areas of the London Borough of Newham.

In a tweet posted on the ‘Waltham Forest MPS | North East BCU’ account on Thursday, the Met asked members of the public to come forward to help in the search for the missing teenager.

“If you have any information that may help locate him, please call 101 giving reference CAD 2579/10OCT21,” the tweet said.

Missing People, a non-profit run by volunteers dedicated to providing confidential support to anyone affected by missing persons, has urged Moshood to get in contact.

“Moshood, we are here for you whenever you are ready; we can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe,” the service said in a Facebook post.

“Call. Text. 9am-11pm Free. Confidential. 116000,” they added, providing the number for the Runaway Helpline.
