When BBC forecasts sunny spells in London this weekend

Positive news: it’s the weekend! Negative news: we’re still in lockdown.

But with any luck, we are on the way out, which is yet another reason to try and keep positive as we get one step closer to freedom.

In the meantime, good weather always gives us something to be happy about, and BBC forecast some decent spells worth smiling about in the capital this weekend…

Sunny intervals

“Sunny intervals and light winds” are forecast in London on Saturday (March 6).

Sunday (March 7) is likely to be a little less bright, but we can still expect sunshine until around 1pm.

Look, we won’t beat about the bush… it’s not going to be sunbathing in your bikini in the back garden weather anytime soon.

If anything, you might want to layer up a bit with the temperatures forecast over the next few days…it’s going to drop to just 1C in the early morning hours!

We hope the sunshine gives you a little reason to smile this weekend. And think how good life will be when we’re enjoying it from the comfort of a beer garden instead!
